CTIA–The Wireless Association® Applauds Confirmation of Julius Genachowski as New FCC Chairman and Robert McDowell as FCC Commissioner

WASHINGTON, DC – CTIA - The Wireless Association® President and CEO Steve Largent offered the following comments today regarding Julius Genachowski’s confirmation as the new Chairman and Robert McDowell as a commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC): 

“We’re pleased to hear that last night, the Senate confirmed President Obama’s choice for FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski and Commissioner Robert McDowell.  On behalf of CTIA and the wireless industry, I want to congratulate Chairman Genachowski and Commissioner McDowell.
