International CTIA WIRELESS 2010® Announces Educational Sessions and Speakers

Mobile Executives and Thought Leaders to Address Future Trends and Best Practices for the Coming Mobile Decade

WASHINGTON, DC - International CTIA WIRELESS 2010® today announced its educational session lineup, featuring new tracks focused on high-growth sectors and timely issues affecting mobile innovation. Speakers will address a range of topics – from best practices for monetizing mobile content, to next-generation networks and devices, applications and public policy. In addition, CTIA will present two special interest seminars on mobile marketing and advertising and mobile money. International CTIA WIRELESS will take place March 23-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Partner events will begin Monday, March 22.

“As we enter the ‘Mobile Decade,’ the wireless industry is driving rapid change across all aspects of life – from business to media,” said Robert Mesirow, vice president and show director for CTIA.  “Our educational sessions will bring together some of the most influential players in the mobile ecosystem today and provide a platform for attendees to learn how new wireless technologies will impact their bottom line.”

  • Opportunities for Monetizing Mobile – Sessions will focus on emerging applications and new market opportunities for wireless business expansion.
  • Next-Gen Networks and Devices – Speakers will examine developing technology implementation plans that will affect the wireless landscape, and strategies for technology integration between existing and new wireless and wireline operations.
  • Applications Driving Mobile Innovation and Partnerships – Topics will examine the business behind the ever-changing wireless partnership paradigms, and will contrast the old landscape with the industry’s emerging prospects.
  • U.S. State and Federal Policy – Sessions will address current policy issues impacting the wireless industry. Topics will include wireless broadband, network management and safe driving.
  • Money Over Mobile Seminar – This full-day workshop will host the top mobile innovators who are paving the way for all subscribers to embrace the wireless wallet, to transfer money digitally via their mobile devices.
  • Mobile Marketing & Advertising Seminar – Participants will address the tremendous potential for businesses to market to consumers through the mobile medium and establish mobile marketing as a valued facilitator of more traditional forms of advertising.
