Public Safety Wireless Communication
(Multimedia) The FCC has established rules for the upcoming 700 MHz auction to establish an interoperable national wireless broadband network which public safety will share with a private partner. Several questions remain about how the proposed model will actually work in practice, and Brian Josef, Director, Regulatory Affairs, for CTIA-The Wireless Association®, moderated a panel at CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2007® on the public safety-private partnership.
